Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özge Kömürcü Karuserci received her basic medical education at Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine between 1999-2005. During her undergraduate years, she studied as a visiting student at Jagiellonian University in Poland, MedUni Vienna University in Austria, and Universitat de Barcelona in Spain. She completed her specialist training in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Gaziantep University between 2006-2011, ranking first in the Southeastern Anatolia Region in the Medical Specialization Exam. She worked as a faculty member in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Gaziantep University between 2015-2024. During this period, she received specialized training in urogynecology and genital aesthetics. After receiving the title of Associate Professor in 2021, she served as Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Gaziantep University. Having authored nearly 100 domestic and foreign scientific publications and participating in national and international congresses, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özge Kömürcü Karuserci continues her profession as of 2024. She speaks fluent English.
