Born in Mersin in 1958, Dr. Torkut completed his education in Ankara and graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1982. After completing his two-year compulsory service, he began his residency in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in Ankara and became a specialist in 1991. While fulfilling his military service in Ankara, he started working in private practice and for approximately six years continued to provide services both at a State Hospital and in his private clinic. In 1997, Dr. Ahmet Torkut moved to Istanbul and accepted patients in his private clinic until 2011. In 2011, he took part in the establishment of Özel Esteworld Hospital. He left in 2012 to join the Özel Medical Park Hospitals Group. Returning to independent private practice in 2017, Dr. Torkut currently continues to see patients in his private clinic. Having performed numerous surgeries in the fields of Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, Dr. Torkut is a member of the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Association, and the Reconstructive Microsurgery Association.
